Root Investigations has been around for over 15 years, and has provided PI services for a variety of cases in the Long Island area. Initially, Lizzy worked for a marketing and ad agency where she learned powerful skills such as web design, content creation, and social media management. However, after realizing that she wanted to spend more of her time helping people, she decided to make a career change and leave the marketing world to become a private investigator.

In recent years, Lizzy has found herself tapping into many of the marketing skills that she acquired early on in her career. In the podcast episode, Lizzy discusses the ongoing search for Leanne Marie Hausberg – a young girl that went missing in 1999. To this day, the investigation is ongoing, and it wasn’t until recently that Lizzy joined the case as a private investigator. This case in particular is unique because most of the evidence and data was collected over 20 years ago, and that makes many standard investigation strategies obsolete. In this unique situation, Lizzy will be relying heavily on her marketing skills to help push this case into the public eye with the hopes of acquiring new information on Leanne’s potential whereabouts.
